商品詳細【　作者　】　藤田　嗣治(フジタ　ツグハル) 【タイトル】　バラを持つ少女【　技法　】　エッチング（銅版画）【作品寸法】　縦23.2×横17cm 【額縁寸法】　縦55×横43.5cm 【作品状態】　良好【額縁状態】　良好【付属品】　ガラスあり、箱あり【　備考　】　- 【作者プロフィール】 1886年（明治19）、現在の東京都新宿区新小川町の陸軍軍医の家に生まれたフジタは、父の上司だった森外の勧めもあり東京美術学校西洋画科に入学。当時主流であった明るい外光派風の洋画にあきたらず、1913年、26歳の時にフランスに渡る。パリのモンパルナスに住んだフジタは、ピカソやヴァン・ドンゲン、モディリアーニらエコール・ド・パリの画家たちと交流しました。彼らに刺激され、独自のスタイルを追究するなかで、日本や東洋の絵画の支持体である紙や絹の優美な質感を、油絵で再現しようと思いつきます。手製のなめらかなカンヴァスの上に、面相筆と墨で細い輪郭線を引き、繊細な陰影を施した裸婦像は、「素晴らしい白い下地（grand fond blanc）」「乳白色の肌」と呼ばれて絶賛されました。1919年にはサロン・ドートンヌに出品した6点の油絵がすべて入選し、ただちに会員に推挙されるなど、フジタの作品はパリで大人気となった。 1929年、凱旋帰国展のため16年ぶりに一時帰国。1933年以降は日本を活動の拠点とします。日中戦争がはじまると、祖国への貢献を願い大画面の戦争画の制作に没頭しますが、戦後は画壇から戦争協力者として批判を浴び、その責任をとる形で日本を離れた。再びパリに暮らし始め、日本には戻らないと決めたフジタは、1955年にフランス国籍を取得。1959年、72歳の時にランスの大聖堂でカトリックの洗礼を受け、レオナールという洗礼名を与えられます。最晩年には、ランスに感謝を示したいと礼拝堂「シャぺル・ノートル＝ダム・ド・ラ・ペ（通称シャペル・フジタ）」の建設を志し、完成から2年後に没した。
