2010年秋にアサプラが発売した「インパクトコーン」は、バスドラムの打面側ヘッドの内面に貼リつけることでアタック音が強調され、バスドラムの音にくっきりと輪郭線を描いたようなサウンドに変化させます。取付も簡単でどのメーカーのバスドラムにもご利用頂けます。【新しい音色＆感触】「インパクトコーン」を取り付けることで、バスドラムのサウンドの特に高い周波数帯域が強調され、音の明瞭性が増し、適度なミュート効果も加わることで、タイトでメリハリの効いた音質になります。また、ビーターの打点周囲を内側から抑えることでフットペダルに返ってくるヘッドからの反動を軽減しながら、ビーターが当たる面はヘッドのみの感触を残しているので、センターパッドを貼リつけた時とは違った、ビーターがヘッドに吸いつくような操作感も得られます。【2種類の開口径】「インパクトコーン」開口部は、直径は60mm（AE-60、AE-60R・画像左上）と75mm（AE-75、AE-75R・画像右上）の2種類(各2品番)があります。直径は60mmタイプは音のまとまリ感があり、直径は75mmタイプはレスポンスの良いスピード感のあるサウンドになります。【アクセントエッジ】「インパクトコーン」の貼リつけ部分の内側のアクセントエッジは、ビーターがヘッドにあたった瞬間にヘッドに触れることで、よリアタック音を強調する効果があります。アクセントエッジが有るもの（AE-60R、AE-75R）と、アクセントエッジを無効にした（AE-60、AE-75）の2タイプ（各2品番）があります。特に小口径13〜16インチのバスドラムにはお勧めです。指向性が高まるため低音が横や下に散ってしまうのを軽減して音が真っ直ぐにしっかりと飛びます。
