ワイン名Hautes Cotes de Beaune Jardin du Calvaire blanc / Etienne Sauxetワイン種別白ブドウ品種シャルドネ生産者エティエンヌ・ソゼ生産地などブルゴーニュ　コート・ド・ボーヌ原産地呼称AOCブルゴーニュ・オート・コート・ド・ボーヌその他備考ブルゴーニュ最高峰の白ワイン産地ピュリニー・モンラッシェで、ルフレーヴと並ぶ代表的な生産者エティエンヌ・ソゼ。生前15haまで拡大した畑は、1975年の他界後、相続問題により、畑の面積は9haまで減少してしまいました。ワイナリーを継承したソゼの孫娘ジャニーヌの娘婿、現当主のジェラール・ブードは、ソゼのワインを愛する顧客へワインを届け続けるため、ドメーヌとしての看板を下げ、1991年よりネゴシアンとしてワイン造りを続けることを決断しました。通常、ドメーヌものとネゴシアンもので分けて造る造り手が多い中、ジェラール・ブードは自身で栽培したぶどうと、ジェラールが信頼を置く栽培農家から買い付けたぶどうを混ぜてワインを造っています。 2000年からはソゼの曾孫に当たるエミリーが、2002年にはその夫ブノワ・リフォーが参画、2010年からは全面的にビオディナミ農法を実践するなど、老舗でありながら、常に進化を続けている素晴らしい造り手です。こちらのワインは、ピュリニー・モンラッシェから約6km西方に位置するオート・コート・ド・ボーヌに所有する、ソゼが「ジャルダン・デュ・カルヴェール（カルヴェール庭園）」と呼んでいた畑のぶどうで造られたワイン。熟れた白桃の芳香や、マンダリンオレンジ、白い花や蜂蜜、甘いスパイスのアロマが感じられます。ミディアムからフルボディで、完熟した果実感が豊かに広がり、長い余韻が続きます。。コストパフォーマンスの高い秀逸な白ワインです。
